Have you always wanted to try yoga or attend a public class but were hesitant because you lack knowledge or flexibility? Have you been practicing yoga already but feel as though you're not doing some of the poses correctly? If this describes you, then we have created a series just for you!
Starting December 3rd, a 5 class series will be offered at the SOKC Library where you will learn the fundamentals of yoga. During the class you will enjoy a basic beginner's yoga set followed by detailed instruction on 5 yoga poses. You will learn how to correctly perform 25 of the most common yoga poses. You will learn about proper breathing and body alignment. Classes will be taught by certified yoga instructor Laura Lee of Infinity Wellness Center.
Registration required. Yoga mats will be provided for those registered. For adults only. While it is not required to attend all 5 classes, it is encouraged so that participants can benefit from this learning experience. Register for each event individually.
