Event Details

Sew a lap RAG QUILT this fall. Give it as a Christmas gift or keep it for chilly nights when you curl up with a book.

This four-hour project will take two sessions. It is for the beginner as well as the more experienced. Sewing machines and sewing supplies (except fabric) are one of the Pioneer Library System’s STEAM learning kits and are provided for the 12 participants.

This workshop will be led by Brenda Hill, OSU Extension Family and Consumer Science Educator for Cleveland County. A signed waiver is required of adult participants and parents of students 12 years or older.

100% cotton fabric will need to be used. 

White or lightest color – 1 ¼” yard

Light blue or medium color – 2 1/8th yard

Dark blue or darkest color – 2 7/8 yard

Red or contrasting color – 1 ¼ yard

Batting (low loft) 1 5/8th

Matching thread or an ecru
