VITA volunteers help prepare basic federal and state income tax returns for taxpayers with an income of less than $51,000. VITA volunteers are at the Moore Public Library every Wednesday night and Saturday morning throughout the tax filing season. They will help patrons on a first-come, first-served basis. The last returns will be started 30 minutes prior to the end of the session.
Taxpayers are encouraged to bring:
A copy of 2013 tax return, if it is available
Social security physical cards for the worker, spouse, and children born before 12/31/2013
W-2 forms from all jobs.
1099 forms for any other income
Any IRS notices received during 2013
Statements received from a mortgage company during 2013 (these are for itemized returns)
